How to get to Secret Beach ?
Starting June 22, the unofficial pullout popularly used as parking for Secret Beach along U.S. 101 between Brookings and Gold Beach will be unavailable for parking.
Here is how to navigate the changes:
Secret Beach is located within the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor on the Southern Oregon Coast near Brookings, Oregon. Access to the beach requires a short hike and may vary depending on current parking availability and trail conditions.
The primary access points are from the following parking areas:
From either location, visitors can access the Secret Beach Trailhead ranging from 20-40 minutes. The trails are moderately strenuous, with uneven natural terrain that includes rocks, roots, steep sections, and areas of loose footing.
Cell service is limited throughout the corridor so visitors should plan ahead before arriving and use designated parking areas, as parking along the Highway 101 shoulder is prohibited.
